Abstract
Cor triatriatum is a rare congenital malformation of the heart in which the left atrium is devided by an anormalous fibrous membrane into a accessary chanber and a true left atrium. All the four pulmonary veins enter into the accessary chamber
and
the
true left atrium leads into the left ventricle through a normal valve.
We report a case of cor triatriatum (left atrial membrane), asymptomatic 33-year-old man without associated congenital anomaly diagnosed by transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
